A Feast for the Eyes at Blackthorpe Barn

Thursday 21st May saw the opening of a wonderful exhibition at Blackthorpe Barn, bringing together the work of three returning Suffolk-based artists: Cyndi Speer, Carol Pask and Mac McCaughan. It is a joy to welcome them back and from the moment the doors opened, visitors have been delighted by what they have found.

The range on show is really something special. Cyndi’s dreamlike oil paintings, mixed media collages and giclée prints fill the space with colour and quiet wonder, each piece reflecting her deep connection to the natural world.

Alongside them, Carol’s striking sculptural ceramics and her beautiful Land to Cloth textile range – hand-dyed, hand-knitted and woven wool accessories made from native British sheep breeds – have been drawing plenty of admiring attention.

Mac’s forged steel metalwork completes the picture beautifully, blending traditional blacksmithing with contemporary design in a way that feels both timeless and fresh.

The exhibition is open each day from 10am until 4pm until Bank Holiday Monday, 25th May, with free entry and all works available for sale.

If you haven’t been yet, there is plenty to see and something for everyone to fall in love with.
Come and find us at Blackthorpe Barn. We’d love to see you.
