Set on the gentle, south-facing slopes just outside the historic market town of Saffron Walden in Essex, the team behind Saffron Grange began with a simple question: could this landscape support something truly exceptional? Working closely with specialist consultants, they analysed the soils and microclimate in detail, and the results were compelling: this unique combination of chalk-rich earth, aspect and topography proved perfectly suited to growing grapes for premium sparkling wines. And so Saffron Grange was born.

Today Saffron Grange is a family-run vineyard on the outskirts of the historic market town of Saffron Walden, nurturing local talent and investing in the very best equipment and world-class expertise to craft the finest quality English sparkling wine.
