This old field pond used to be surrounded by poplar trees, shaded and never held any water. In the autumn of 2018, we removed the trees and silt. It’s nice to see it now finally filling with water and providing a lasting environmental habitat.
In Spring 2020 we added hedges to enhance some ponds around the estate.
