MEET Kathy Scott

Kathy creates sculptures using historical costumes and high couture fashion with accentuated form. She works mainly in beautiful raw silk and mixed media bringing them to life in three-dimensional form with a sense of expressive movement and delicacy taken from her initial drawings.

Her work brings to life sentimental scenes resembling a freeze-frame or still from an old movie, recreating the essence of a given period in history, recapturing romance, glamour, humour, nostalgia, evoking strong emotions and precious memories or it can transport you to a wonderful world of vivid scenes taken from her own dreams of fantasy and fairytales.
