Dea + Me

Meet Teresa Crickmar
Teresa’s jewellery begins with a single word: Dea, Latin for goddess, referencing Gaia, the creative, life-giving earth. Dea + me is the simple reality that the maker, the process, the material, and their origins are part of one unbroken system. From there, her entire creative approach unfolds. Working directly at the bench with recycled sterling silver, 9ct gold, gold vermeil, and vibrant gemstones, Teresa fuses, forges, and fabricates every piece by hand. The result is jewellery that visibly wears the marks of its own making: raw, intentional, and full of life.
As a maker with an ADHD brain that rarely slows down, working at the bench is how Teresa finds focus. She steps away from constraints in favour of instinct, creating pieces across her Vita, Vi, and Viriditas collections that blend curiosity, perseverance, and respect for her materials. By using fire and pressure to transform metal, she turns raw elements into lasting pieces that celebrate individual strength and honest self-expression.
Based in her workshop in Lode, Cambridgeshire, Teresa creates contemporary jewellery driven by human resilience and our connection to nature. Outside making, she teaches, firm in her belief that working with our hands is a core human need, not a privilege. At its heart, Dea + me celebrates the feminine, fierce resilience and women who know their worth. These are pieces made to mirror your journey, jewellery that feels meaningful because it genuinely is.
