There were two great Rougham wins at the recent Suffolk Show.
We’re thrilled to share that Rougham Estate’s very own beekeeper, Zac, won first prize for his honey at this year’s Suffolk Show. Zac works hard looking after the bees across the Estate and it’s brilliant to see his care and dedication recognised with such a well-deserved award.

It wasn’t just the bees bringing home the silverware. Rougham C of E Primary School also did exceptionally well, earning a Silver Gilt award in the Schools Show Garden Competition 2025. Competing against 15 other schools, they impressed the judges with their creativity, effort and green-fingered enthusiasm.

A couple of years ago the Estate donated some gardening tools to help support the school’s gardening club, so it’s lovely to see those early seeds bearing fruit. The children and staff have clearly put in a lot of hard work and it’s wonderful to see them getting the recognition they deserve.

Well done to Zac and to the young gardeners at Rougham Primary School – fantastic results all round at the Suffolk Show!
