Browse for plants, get advice
After such a fabulous time in May we are pleased to say that the Pop-Up Plant Stall hosted by Watsons Plants is becoming a more regular feature at Blackthorpe Barn!
Watsons Plants are the talented team behind the beautiful planting in our courtyard troughs and Chris Watson will be setting up in the courtyard or, if the weather takes a turn, you’ll find him under cover nearby.
Join us from 10am–4pm on Saturdays and Sundays, every other weekend, to browse a selection of quality plants and pick up expert advice to help your garden thrive this summer.
The 20 September was the last pop-up plant stall for 2025. We hope to see Chris back again in 2026.
Free entrance, free parking

January is a great time to try something a little different, so throughout the month- as it’s Veganuary - we’ll be serving up a weekly plant-based special alongside our usual menu.
This week’s dish is roasted butternut squash with chipotle jam quinoa, chermoula garlic mayo, pickled red onion and coriander. Packed with flavour and a brilliant option whether you’re fully vegan or just fancy a change.
Pop in for your first visit and you’ll receive a 10% voucher to use across January and February. While you’re here, grab a coffee loyalty card too – your 8th coffee is free.
