Summer Sunflowers
In mid-summer the beautiful sunflower field opens where you can immerse yourself in a sea of vibrant gold. The sight of towering sunflowers, swaying gently in the breeze, creates a picturesque landscape.
The air is filled with the sweet fragrance of blooming flowers, and the warm sunlight adds a golden glow. There’s plenty of space for children to run and play, with coffee and food available. Entrance and parking are free.

Autumnal Pumpkins
Just in time for autumn, the huge pumpkin patch opens with thousands upon thousands of coloured pumpkins dotting the field, ready for picking. The crisp air is filled with the scent of earth and the promise of Halloween.
It is wonderful family fun to come and find the perfect pumpkins for carving or decoration. With space to play and delicious food and drink on offer, it has a fabulous festival feeling. Entrance and parking are free.

Art and Craft
Throughout the year, the tranquil surroundings of Blackthorpe Barn provide the perfect backdrop for discovering unique works of art or learning new skills. From annual exhibitions and regular craft workshops to the famous Christmas Arts and Crafts Fair over five weekends, talented artisans from around the country gather here.
Whether you’re an enthusiast or a casual visitor, experiencing the creativity of arts and crafts at Rougham Estate promises inspiration, cultural enrichment and fun.

Bees are the backbone of the Estate because they are vital for our farming, gardens and everything that blooms here.
We’re proud to stock Bee Cosmetics, born from a family’s beekeeping journey: from backyard hives to handcrafted skincare. Their products use hive treasures of beeswax, honey and propolis all blended with natural botanicals and made with care. Each jar tells that story of hive-to-shelf craft and sustainable stewardship.
A nod to the power of pollinators and to the final week of Rougham Estate In Bloom. So pop by the shop to see the range and celebrate our buzzing helpers. 🌼

Something new has come to Rougham Estate!
The Rougham Estate Trust is opening a new museum at Lawneys Farm which shares the rich history of Rougham Estate. Visitors can discover the stories that have shaped Estate over many years.
It will be open on select dates only so we recommend joining our newsletter (link in profile and bottom of the RoughamEstate website) to find out first.
The museum will host a changing programme of exhibitions exploring the people, places and events that have made Rougham Estate what it is today. The first exhibition focuses on the remarkable life of John Agnew, whose vision, energy and enthusiasm left a lasting mark on the Estate and far beyond.
From pioneering environmental projects in Sudan and fundraising through the famous Rougham Fairs, to organising major aviation events and supporting local heritage initiatives, John’s passions touched countless lives across East Anglia.
Through photographs, documents, objects and personal stories, this inaugural exhibition offers a fascinating insight into one of Rougham Estate’s most influential characters, while marking the beginning of a new home for the history of the Estate.
This museum has been created and is organised by the Rougham Estate Trust.

Coppicing might look dramatic when you first see it, but it’s actually one of the oldest and most important woodland management techniques.
By cutting selected trees back to their base, new growth is encouraged, creating a variety of habitats that support everything from insects and wildflowers to birds and small mammals. The extra light reaching the woodland floor helps plants flourish, increasing biodiversity and keeping woodlands healthy for future generations.
It’s a practice that has been used for centuries, working with nature rather than against it, and plays an important role in the management of the Estate’s ancient woodlands today.
As part of Rougham Estate in Bloom, we’re taking a closer look at the ways traditional countryside skills continue to shape and support the landscape around us.
