Meet Jo Davies

Jo is a UK-born abstract artist who lives and works between two very different but equally beautiful places; the gentle, understated landscapes of Suffolk and the sunlit shores of Kefalonia, Greece. It’s this life between two coastlines that shapes everything she makes.

Working intuitively with acrylics and palette knives, Jo creates original textured paintings that capture the quiet moments where land meets sea, comprising soft horizons, weathered coastlines, shifting light and the subtle textures of sand and stone. Each piece is built up in layers, the surface as considered as the subject, and defined by the carefully muted palette of soft neutrals and coastal tones that gives her work its name.

The result is painting that feels calm, unhurried and grounded in place. Her work is collected for thoughtfully curated interiors like coastal homes, contemporary spaces and rooms where simplicity is valued and every object earns its place.
