Mobility Scooters:

We understand and respect the challenges faced by those with mobility needs and we strive to make our shop as welcoming and accessible as possible. However, due to the nature of the shop being housed in a historic farm building, navigating with mobility scooters can be particularly difficult, especially during the weekends when it can get very busy.

To ensure the safety of all our customers, it might be easier to visit on quieter days during the week where we can better assist you with access, or use an alternative mobility aid, different from a mobility scooter, if possible.

What can I find in the shop?

Advent calendars, angels, baubles, candle rings, candles, crackers, cuddly toys, foliage, garlands, gift tags, gingerbread decorations, lanterns, LED lights, lighting, napkins, ornaments, present sacks, ribbons, snow globes, stockings, sweets, tea-light holders, tree toppers, wrapping paper, wreaths … and much, much more!

Handmade Wreaths

From the end of November, handmade wreaths are available to buy from the shop. These often sell as soon as they are made; they are not something that is kept “in stock”.

If you would like to make your own Christmas wreath, each Christmas we offer wreath workshops – click here to find out more.

Weekends closer to Christmas

The shop can get very busy at the weekends, especially at the end of November and through into December.
We ask for your patience at these times and a queue for entry will be created when the shop reaches its maximum capacity. As soon as there is space, you will be allowed in.
Sometimes there are breakages, which means that there can be shards on the floor, so please carry any dogs with you.

⛈️We’re really sorry to say that the downpour we’ve just had here has put paid to the BBQ at the sunflowers this evening ☹️
The event is now cancelled.

We did want to hold the event, but with the recent amount of water, it has become impossible to ask you to come here this evening.
Sorry!!!

The field is still open today until 5pm and as far as we can see will be open again tomorrow. If anything changes, we’ll update our website and let you know here.
Stay safe and dry and many apologies!

It’s a bank holiday weekend and the sunflower field is in full swing!

With free entrance, face painting by @faceitfaceart and coffees, cakes, strawberries and ice cream available from Roots&Co, as well as wandering through the walkways and picking from the ever-growing number of blooming sunflowers, this is the perfect place to visit over the long weekend. Bring a picnic, let the children play in the sandpits and on the pedal tractors or bring a football for more energetic types and climb the big bale pyramids.

Just 2 minutes away, on the other side of the A14, at Blackthorpe Barn the Plant Stall is in the courtyard until Monday. Come and see the beautiful plants for sale, with Chris from @watsons_plants giving great advice for all your gardening questions. There’s also the Garden Room Shop and Roots Café there and walks of different lengths through the gorgeous Suffolk countryside. Everything is open all weekend.

Rougham Estate makes a perfect bank holiday destination. Just off junction 45 of the A14, the access to both the sunflower field and Blackthorpe Barn from the A14 is not affected by the road closures.

See you soon! 😃👋🌻🌱
