The work never stops on the Estate and recently we have been conducting the annual safety work on the trees along the avenue to Blackthorpe Barn.
In this case, a large, dead oak tree has been made safe. Huge limbs are removed as well as other smaller branches. Moving position around the tree is delicate work.
The tree’s trunk is left standing as a monument to the tree.
