Meet Claire Porter

Claire Porter is a full time ceramic artist living and working in Bressingham, Norfolk, making mainly thrown functional stoneware, inspired by the North Norfolk coastline and countryside.

She uses a small selected pallete of satin matt dolomite glazes in earth tones, fired in gas reduction to cone 10. 

Claire welcomes visitors to her studio by appointment and is happy to discuss commissions. Each piece reflects the quiet influence of her surroundings and a lifelong passion for the art of making.
