What is the ethos behind the Garden Shop?

We are doing our best to source our offerings from reputable sources and known origins, knowing many of our suppliers personally.
Most of our stock is made from glass, stone, ceramic and metal, avoiding plastic as much as possible.
We are aiming to offer a curated selection of beautiful lifestyle items with a focus on sustainability and beauty.

Are you dog-friendly?

Yes, dogs are welcome in the shop with paws on the floor.
We sell doggie treats which are locally made and other doggie items too.

What sort of things do you stock?

We are doing our best to source our offerings from reputable suppliers and known origins.
The dried flowers are grown locally in Suffolk, some in our own garden.
The beauty care products are mostly made by a small artisan husband and wife business in Yorkshire whom we have met personally.
There will be cards, giftwrap and bags from a British designer whom we recently met and hand soap from another artisan maker from Somerset.
We will soon be stocking handmade hearts created from twigs and dried flowers created here in our own shop.

We are building up the shop month by month with new suppliers coming on board all the time.

What’s happened to the Christmas Shop?

The Garden Room shop is set out in part of the Christmas shop. We are busy working behind the scenes to set up the well-loved Christmas shop for the coming year and come October, it will be opening again.

Enjoy a wander

This year we are expanding the number of walks starting from Blackthorpe Barn, with Rougham Estate offering 18 miles of public footpaths and popular cycling routes, alongside additional permissive paths. Coupled with the café and the shop, this creates a superb destination for a relaxing day out in the Suffolk countryside and to enjoy the changing seasons.
