You may remember that in September last year, we unfortunately had to fell some Norway Spruce. You can read more about it here.

This felling was because of the invasive Spruce Bark Beetle, under the instructions of the Forestry Commission.

Now, we are pleased to say that this February we have been replanting the bridge embankments with native trees to replace the ones that were removed. The young trees will take a while to grow but once they are established they will offer wildlife a home and the embankment will look beautiful again, in a few years.
