Tricia Taylor Designs

MEET Tricia Taylor
Tricia is a contemporary jewellery designer maker, working mainly in silver. She incorporates colour in her unique work with stones, gold and enamel together with hammered textures and reticulation.
She thinks of enamel as painting with glass, blending colours to give subtle shades, whether in her jewellery or screen printed enamel panels. Tricia is influenced by the spaces in between shapes as much as the shapes themselves, balancing them to attract the viewer.
In her silversmithing work she makes silver boxes and spoons as well as organic-shaped bowls and sculptures in copper and silver.
Achievements include a bursary from Goldsmith’s Hall, Second Prize for Body of Work from Goldsmith’s Hall 2007, the British Jewellers Enamelling Award 2007, and a nomination for the British Jewellery Association Student of the Year Award in 2007. Exhibitions include New Designers 2007, the Graduate Show at Studio Fusion, London, Primavera and Cambridge Open Studios.
Tricia exhibits locally and take commissions.
