Fun, Fabric Vase Covers
Available in lots of different fabrics, and colours, including cotton, silks and linens. Bright fun fabrics or more subtle shades with pretty French linen floral linings. Spots, stripes, prints and plains. All the vase covers have a contrast fabric lining making them reversible. Simply pop in a pint glass or jar, add flowers and water. Presented flat-pack, an easy to post, and highly unusual gift.
The felt vases follow the same idea, using a plastic bottle to hold the water and flowers. Take an old, well worn, woolly jumper, a boil wash to felt the fabric. Maybe some rare breed British wool tops, free machining with hand dyed silk strands an unusual slate or wooden button to complete the picture and you have a totally up-cycled felt vase. As I am creating the fabric, each one is slightly different making a unique item. A mix of colours and textures. A simple and very practical idea, always on the hunt for pure wool jumpers!
