MEET Jill Patel and Jenny Anderson

Petal Anderson creates distinctive accessories from a recipe of Tweeds and quirky cotton mixed in with spiralling corsages, buttons, pin-tucks and pleating. The beautiful fabrics used, particularly Harris Tweed and Welsh wool, reflect the true beauty, texture and colour of the British Isles. Buttons are then carefully chosen to complement the muted tones of the weave.

Petal Anderson are twin-sisters, Jill Patel and Jenny Anderson, who predictably have followed similar career paths and share identical tastes in design. Having graduated from the Royal College of Art both worked in Italy and London as fashion designers, which has given them an understanding of how fabric can be manipulated into interesting forms or left well alone in its beautiful simplicity. Coupled with a love of style and design, both contemporary and vintage, each unique accessory has been handmade with love and attention.
