MEET Rosemary Mees

I make traditional teddy bears and hares using best quality Steiff Schulte mohair imported from Germany. These bears are designed for collectors as well as children’s gifts. In the case of children’s bears and hares, I use safety eyes and filling which meets the British Safety Standard. Some will be clothed whilst others are decorated with just a ribbon bow. Due to the high quality of the materials used, these bears sell from £60 to £75 and the hares around £50. I make only a small number of these bears and sell them on Etsy UK or in my shop on the Tedsby website. I have sold worldwide. In addition, I receive commissions locally.
