Choose your perfect tree on the plantation

Everyone has their own idea of the perfect Christmas tree. What could be better than going onto the plantation and choosing it for yourself, right where it has been growing for years! You can wander through hundreds of trees of different shapes and sizes until you find “the One”.

It’s a wonderful experience for everyone; very exciting for children, and your dog (on a lead) is welcome to come with you too; come with the whole family and pick up to 3 trees.

We’ll cut your special tree, perfectly fresh, just a day or two before your selected collection week.
Choose from 3 collection weeks when you book; your tree will be at Blackthorpe Barn ready, wrapped and waiting for you from Saturday until the following Thursday.
At a time that suits you (within our opening times), come to Blackthorpe Barn, pay for your tree, take it home and make it look beautiful for the festive season (perhaps include a visit to the Christmas shop for some new decorations!).

Tree Prices

This year’s pricelist for cut trees will be available a week or so before the PYO Tree weekends.
Rough price guides from previous years are:
6ft Nordmann/Fraser Firs: approximately £45,
6ft Norway Spruce: approximately £30.
Your tree will be measured and priced according to the current year’s prices.

The PYO Tree service of opening the plantation and then locating, cutting and preparing your chosen tree for your specific collection week costs £15 in addition to the normal cost of the tree.

If you prefer, you are welcome to buy a pre-cut tree or a potted tree without visiting the plantation.
Freshly-cut Rougham Estate trees are available daily from the end of November to just before Christmas at Blackthorpe Barn.

Rougham Estate is a proud member of the British Christmas Tree Growers Association.

HOW PYO TREE WORKS

01

Booking: Choose your check-in time to come to the plantation

Book your check-in time ticket for when you want to come to the plantation and choose your tree.
You can come to the plantation with as many people as you like; the check-in time-slot ticket is to time your arrival at the plantation.

  • Check-in time tickets are booked and paid for online using the buttons on this page.
  • The cost secures your check-in time and covers the plantation experience for choosing your (first) tree, and then for us to find it, cut it and prepare it for you to collect during your chosen week.
  • The cost of £15 is in addition to the cost of the tree.

02

Booking: Choose the number of trees you want

With each check-in time-slot ticket, you are able to choose up to 3 trees from the plantation.
This is useful if you are coming to the plantation as a group or family and you want up to 3 trees between you. Each tree can have its own name label and can be collected separately during the same collection week.
Or maybe you just want 3 trees for yourself!

  • When booking your check-in time, please tell us how many trees you would like to choose; maximum 3 trees.
  • Any second and third trees incur a further cost of £15 each, which is to be paid for by card at the plantation check-in hut.
  • All 3 trees on one check-in ticket must be collected during the same collection week, but not necessarily at the same time during that week. Collection is open from Saturday morning to Thursday afternoon.
  • All 3 trees on one check-in ticket will have the same contact details, those of the person who books the ticket.
  • Grouping your trees into one check-in time-slot ticket, if that suits you, allows more families to get a ticket.

03

Booking: Tell us the name to go on your tree name label

Each tree you want to choose at the plantation will have its own personalised name label. If you want to choose more than 1 tree, you are welcome to give each tree its own name or name them all with the same name.

  • Give us the name for your personalised tree label when booking your check-in time-slot ticket, and the names for the labels on the second and third trees if you want more than 1 tree.
  • If you only want 1 tree, please leave the second and third name fields blank.
  • Please choose a name for your tree that will be something you remember at collection and something others are unlikely to choose.
  • The label name you choose will be used for sorting the trees into alphabetical bays at Blackthorpe Barn, ready for collection. Please make it something readable; don’t use just numbers or non-alphabetical characters for your name label.
  • We reserve the right to slightly alter any name label in the rare cases where what has been entered is unsuitable, for example, adding a surname to label with just numbers.
  • You will be given your printed waterproof name label at check-in so you will know what your label says, and you will be reminded by email of your name label just before your chosen collection week.

04

Booking: Choose your Collection Week

When you are booking your check-in time ticket, tell us which week you would like to collect your tree(s).
There are 3 collection weeks on offer: 22-27 Nov, 29 Nov-4 Dec, 6-11 Dec.

  • All the trees booked on one check-in time-slot ticket must be collected during the same collection week, but not necessarily at the same time during that week.
  • Your tree(s) will be available for collection throughout your chosen collection week, from 9:30am on Saturday morning to 5pm on Thursday evening.
  • Please note – we are unable to change your collection week once you have chosen it.
  • PYO trees not collected during their nominated collection week will be added to the other pre-cut trees at Blackthorpe Barn and offered for sale to the public.

05

Booking: Payment

The £15 time-slot ticket price, paid online at the time of booking your ticket, covers the choosing of your first tree.

  • We will take the payment for choosing a second or third tree at the plantation check-in (card payment only).
  • The £15 per tree is in addition to the cost of the tree. You pay for your tree when you collect it at Blackthorpe Barn; tree prices depend upon the type of tree you have chosen and the tree height.

06

Make your way to the plantation for your booked check-in time-slot

The plantation this year is at The Rookery, the same place as in 2024. You will find the entrance almost opposite the entrance to Ravenwood Hall Hotel, and just south of Junction 45 of the A14.
There is a map and directions lower down this page. It is about 1 minute’s drive from Blackthorpe Barn.

WHAT TO BRING

  • Please wear sturdy shoes or boots; the plantation can get muddy.
  • You may want to bring gloves or waterproofs; the trees can be prickly and wet.
  • You may also want to wear your most festive Christmas jumper or hat and get some great pictures while you’re here!

07

At the Plantation: Parking

There is plenty of free parking at The Rookery plantation.

  • Park near the plantation where you will see a banner and the PYO Christmas Tree check-in hut.
  • Kiernan’s Coffee trailer will there serving warming drinks and snacks while the PYO Christmas Tree event is open.

08

At the Plantation: Arrive in good time

Arrive at the plantation with enough time to check-in during your designated time-slot (map below). You are welcome to come with the whole family, and your dog on a short lead.

  • A smooth check-in for everyone depends on the timed arrival process working well; please help us by arriving on time.
  • In the event of poor weather on the day, we still go ahead with the timed check-ins on the plantation and cannot rebook your time-slot.
  • Unfortunately we cannot accommodate walk-ins. Booking is essential.
The PYO Christmas Tree process is finely-tuned to accept the right number of groups per half hour time-slot, with personalised tree labels and details pre-prepared for each check-in.

09

At the Plantation: Check-in and collect your personalised label

Check in at the plantation confirming your contact details, the number of trees you booked to choose and the week you have chosen to collect them.
At this point you will be given your coloured tree label(s), personalised with the label name(s) you entered at the booking stage.

  • Each tree will get a coloured label corresponding to your chosen collection week: RED for the first collection week, BLUE for the second week and ORANGE for the third collection week.
  • If you booked to choose more than one tree (up to a maximum of 3), pay for the extra trees at the check-in hut: £15/tree (card payment only).

10

At the Plantation: Finding your tree

Enter the plantation and take a good look around. There are lots of trees of different sizes, predominantly Nordmann Fir up to about 10ft. There are also Norway Spruce and Blue Spruce, but in fewer numbers.
When you have found your perfect tree, tie your coloured label securely near the top and/or somewhere very visible, so we can spot it easily at cutting time.

  • Please make sure the tree you choose does not already have a label on it.
  • The coloured label is how we, and others, know that this tree is yours and it lets us know when we need to cut it for you.
  • Once your label is in place we cannot change it.
  • Please double-check your label is securely on your tree; if it falls off, we won’t know which tree you chose.

Why not take a selfie with your tree and tag us @roughamestate – we love to see you with your tree!

  • If you want a tree taller than 10ft, please get in touch with our Christmas Tree Manager for an over-sized tree.

11

At the Plantation: Note the Location Bay Number

Please make a note of the numbered bay area in which your tree is located.
This helps us greatly to know where to look for your tree when it comes to cutting time.

  • Once your tree has a coloured label attached, we cannot change your tree or your collection week.

12

At the Plantation: Check-out

On your way out of the plantation stop off at the check-in hut again and let us know which numbered bay area your tree is in and what type of tree it is, if you know.

Now you can relax in the knowledge that you are going to get the exact tree that you want to be the centrepiece of your Christmas festivities, freshly-cut and prepared for you, ready when you want it.

13

Visit Blackthorpe Barn for a browse

Blackthorpe Barn is about 1 minute away, so perhaps go to Roots Café for a bite to eat after your adventure, or for a browse around the Christmas Shop, which is open on both PYO Tree weekends and the Arts and Crafts Fair, open on the second PYO Tree weekend.

14

Tree Cutting

Just a day or two before your selected collection week we will locate your tree on the plantation using the coloured label you attached to it.

Your tree will be cut and brought to Blackthorpe Barn where it will be prepared and wrapped for collection.

15

Collection: Email Notification

A day or two before your chosen collection week we will send you an email reminding you that your tree will be ready for collection from Saturday to Thursday.

  • This email will include the personalised name you chose to be written on your tree label (at the booking stage) and also your tree label number.
  • Please ensure that whoever comes to collect your tree has this information with them; this saves looking through hundreds of trees and avoids taking the wrong tree home.

16

Collection: Collect from Blackthorpe Barn; Saturday morning to Thursday evening

Come to collect your tree during your chosen week. It will be waiting for you, ready and netted in the Christmas tree sales area, to the side of the big Barn. Park in the Christmas Tree Car Park to collect it; see the Blackthorpe Barn Ground Plan.

  • Your tree will be available from 9:30am on Saturday morning until 5pm on Thursday evening.
  • * RED labelled trees: collection from Saturday 22 November – Thursday 27 November
  • * BLUE labelled trees: collection from Saturday 29 November – Thursday 4 December
  • * ORANGE labelled trees: collection from Saturday 6 December – Thursday 1 December
  • Don’t forget to bring the reminder of what you wrote on your tree label, and the tree label number, so that you can find your tree easily.
  • Please make sure you take your own tree and not someone else’s.

17

Collection: Pay for your tree and visit the Christmas Shop

Pay for your tree at the payment hut.
The price of the tree will be determined by the type of tree it is and how tall it is.
The £15 PYO charge is in addition to the cost of the tree and is not a deposit.

There is a dedicated Christmas tree parking area, close to where all the Christmas trees are, to make collection easier.

Please follow the signs and see the Ground Plan of Blackthorpe Barn for details.

18

Collection: Visit the Christmas Shop and the Arts & Crafts Fair

While you are here, why not treat your new tree to some new decorations from the Christmas Shop, or find some quality hand-crafted gifts at the Arts & Crafts Fair (weekends only).
Roots Café will be serving Christmas treats or grab a snack from the kiosk in the courtyard.
The Rougham Estate Christmas Festival runs from mid-October to just before Christmas each year and there is always something new to discover.

19

Take your Christmas tree home, decorate and enjoy!

Take your tree home and enjoy the wonder of Christmas with your very special locally-grown tree.
If you post it online in all its glory, tag us @roughamestate on social media; we love to see where our Rougham Estate trees spend Christmas.

To keep your tree looking good, we suggest following these tips on looking after your cut tree.

20

Tree Delivery and Over-sized Trees

We offer a tree delivery service within a 30 mile radius of the Barn, if preferred. The delivery cost depends upon the distance.

  • Let us know at the plantation check-in hut if you would like your tree to be delivered. We will take all your details there.
  • Pay for both your tree and delivery at this point at the check-in hut (card payment only).

For more information, including for requests for over-sized trees which cannot be accommodated at the plantation, please email Simon Eddell (Christmas Tree Manager) on simon@roughamestate.com

Any other questions?

If you have any other questions, please have a look at the FAQs section below.

FB_IMG_1663510032274

Things to bring

  • Warm and waterproof clothes: tree branches can be very wet
  • Gloves: some trees can be quite prickly
  • Sturdy footwear: the plantation be muddy with puddles
  • A tape measure to make sure that the tree is the perfect size to fit your house
Predominantly Nordmann Fir

Due to most people wanting Nordmann Fir for the long needle-retention times and softer needles, this is the predominant tree grown. However, there are some Norway Spruce, but in smaller numbers.

Plantation

Due to trees being grown in cycles, the plantation is constantly evolving, with some trees being cut and others becoming bigger. Therefore the area from which customers can choose a tree will alter as years go by.

Information about pre-cut trees here
See other Christmas events

PLEASE NOTE

When trees are cut

For safety reasons, we cannot cut any trees in the plantations on days when the public are there and members of the public cannot cut trees themselves.
Your chosen tree will be cut at least a week (or more) after your visit the plantation.

FAQs

Do I need to book or can I just walk up to the plantation and choose a tree?

Booking is essential for the Pick Your Own Christmas Tree event at the plantation. We are unable to accommodate walk-ins unfortunately.

The booking process allows us to regulate the number of people turning up at the plantation at any one time, avoiding over-crowding and making the whole experience more pleasant for everyone.

The check-in process is carefully prepared for each booked ticket, including pre-printed personalised labels. Allowing walk-ins would require details to be taken down by hand which would, in turn, slow down the process and cause queues.

If you are unable to book a time-slot for the PYO Tree event, there are still plenty of pre-cut Rougham Estate trees available to buy from Blackthorpe Barn.

I’m coming to the plantation with family/friends; we want 3 trees between us.
Can I book just one check-in time-slot ticket?

Yes, you can choose up to 3 trees with one time-slot ticket.

If you are coming to the plantation as a group and want up to 3 trees between you, just book one check-in time-slot ticket and let us know the different names for each tree label.
You pay for the first tree online to secure the check-in time and pay for the other trees at the check-in hut (card only).

All 3 trees must be collected during the same collection week, but not necessarily at the same time during that week. Collection weeks run from Saturday morning to Thursday afternoon.

All 3 trees will have the same contact name/email/phone number. These are the contact details of the person who buys the ticket.

By combining your group’s trees into one time-slot ticket, it allows other families to book a ticket to visit the plantation.

The cost to select each tree on the plantation is £15. This is in addition to the cost of the tree.

What name should I choose for my tree label?

When you book your check-in time-slot you have the opportunity to enter what you would like to be printed on your personalised name label. Each tree gets its own label, so if you want more than 1 tree, let us know the name for the second (and third) tree too.

Pick a name that is likely to be unique to you and that the person collecting the tree will remember/know. The name you choose for your label will be used to sort the trees for collection at the Barn. Please use mostly alphabetical characters for your tree name label.

We reserve the right to alter any tree name label slightly, if what has been chosen is unsuitable; for example, adding the contact person’s surname to a label with just numbers or removing any offensive words.

At check-in you will be told if any changes have been made to your label, and the name label for your tree will be emailed to you just before the beginning of the collection week, to make sure you know what you are looking for.

What do I need to bring with me to PYO Christmas Tree?

If the weather is a bit chilly, dress up warmly – the plantation is all outside. If it’s been raining, do wear wellies.
You may like to bring gloves because the trees can be a bit prickly, and bring a camera to take a picture of your beautiful tree and where it has been growing.
If you feel like it, why not come in your most festive Christmas jumpers and hats!

Bring the family – it’s a great experience for young children.
You are welcome to bring your well-behaved dog on a short lead too.

Kiernan’s Coffee will be with us at the plantation this year, serving coffees, warm drinks and snacks.

How many people can I bring to the plantation?

You are welcome to come as a family to the plantation to choose your Christmas tree(s). The booking you make is for an arrival time, so that we can manage the check-in process efficiently, not for a specific number of people.

Can I bring my dog to the PYO Christmas Tree?

Yes, you are welcome to bring well-behaved dogs on a lead to the Christmas tree plantation when you come to choose your tree.

  • Please keep your dog under control at all times and ensure that your dog does not disturb other people’s enjoyment of the premises or block any passageways.
How many trees can I choose when I am at the plantation?

You can choose up to 3 trees from the plantation in one time-slot booking, with a charge of £15 per tree (in addition to the cost of the trees).
You are welcome to have 3 different names on the tags for the 3 trees, just tell us the different names when you make the booking.

We will take payment for the second and third trees when you check in at the plantation (card only).

How long can I stay at the plantation?

Once you are checked in at the Christmas tree plantation, you are welcome to stay at the plantation until you find your perfect tree or until closing time.
The later in the day your check-in time is, the less time you will have.
We close the plantation half an hour after the last entry ticket time.

Many people take about half an hour to find their perfect tree. You may spot it as soon as you walk into the plantation or it may take you a little longer to find your tree, but please be aware of our closing time at 2:30pm.

What types of trees do you have on the plantation?

Due to most people wanting Nordmann Fir for the long needle-retention times and softer needles, this is the predominant tree grown on the plantation.
There are some Norway Spruce and Blue Spruce too, but in smaller numbers.

Do you have over-sized Christmas trees?

We grow and sell Christmas trees of all sizes, with a wide range of sizes of cut trees available at Blackthorpe Barn.
On the plantation, for the Pick Your Own Trees event, the trees available to choose from have an approximate maximum height of 10ft.
Any trees over 10ft tall must be ordered directly from our Christmas Tree Manager.

Contact Simon Eddell, our Christmas Tree manager, for over-sized tree requests.
Email: simon@roughamestate.com

Are there toilets at the plantation?

The nearest toilets to the plantation are at Blackthorpe Barn, about 1 minute’s drive away.
The plantation itself is a field with no facilities.

There’s poor weather forecast for my booked time to come to the plantation. Can I change my booking?

Unfortunately we cannot change your time-slot due to forecast poor weather. We go ahead with the check-in at the plantation even if the weather is not great.

The only way to change your time-slot booking to visit the plantation is to cancel your booking and re-book a ticket for another time.

Refunds for cancelled time-slot tickets are only given if the cancellation is requested 4 full days before the check-in time.

Is the plantation at Blackthorpe Barn?

The PYO Christmas Tree event happens at one of the tree plantations on Rougham Estate. Which plantation is used is decided upon on a year by year basis.

In 2025 the plantation is The Rookery, which isn’t actually at Blackthorpe Barn but is very close and is halfway between the Barn and junction 45 of the A14. You can find the details of how to get there in the Where To Find Us section of the PYO Trees page.

Can you cut my tree to be collected at another time, rather than on my chosen week?

The PYO Christmas Tree event is set up to be as efficient as possible, which means that each tree is labelled with a coloured tag and all trees with that colour label are cut at the same time.
Red labels – Collection Week 1
Blue labels – Collection Week 2
Orange labels – Collection Week 3

We are unable to go and search for your specific tree on the plantation and cut it on another day.

Do I have to pick my tree up at the weekend?

You can collect your tree from Blackthorpe Barn at any point (during our opening times) from the Saturday morning at 9:30 until the Thursday evening 5pm of your chosen collection week. It doesn’t have to be collected at the weekend.

If you haven’t collected your tree by the end of Thursday, your tree will be added to the general cut Christmas trees sales area for anyone else to select and buy.

If you can’t remember when your chosen collection week is, please check your ticket email from Rougham Estate where it will be listed.
We will also send you a reminder email a few days before your chosen collection week starts.

If I book to choose 3 trees at the plantation on one check-in time-slot ticket, do I have to collect all 3 trees at the same time?

If you book to come to the plantation as a group on one check-in time-slot ticket and choose 3 trees from the plantation, all 3 trees will be ready in the same collection week.

However, you don’t have to pick up all 3 trees at the same time. The collection week runs from Saturday morning to Thursday afternoon. You can collect any of your trees at any time during these six days.

Why do I have to pay £15 in addition to the cost of the tree?

The PYO Christmas tree service is available to you to enhance your Christmas experience, if you would like to.
We open up the plantation for you to visit and find your perfect tree, giving you a personalised weather-proof label with which to tag your tree.

A day or two before your specified collection week we then go to the plantation, search for your chosen tree (double-checking it is indeed your tree!), cut it especially for you, measure and net it and set it aside for you.

The cost for this service is £15.
If you don’t wish to pay this £15, you are very welcome to choose from the pre-cut trees available in the Christmas Tree Sales Area.

I can’t make my booked time-slot or collection week now. Can I rebook?

CANCELLATIONS AND REBOOKINGS
If you have only booked your time-slot ticket and have not yet been to the plantation to choose your tree, and you need to change either your picking or collection times, you may be able cancel your PYO Christmas Tree ticket and rebook for another time.

You can only receive a refund for your time-slot ticket if you cancel more than 4 full days before you are booked to visit the plantation.

Booking a new time-slot ticket depends on what tickets are still available at the time.
Let us know you want a cancellation/refund for your original booking by filling in our Cancellation and Refund form.

Unfortunately we can’t change your chosen collection week once you have booked your time-slot.
Your tree will be held for you from the Saturday morning of your chosen collection week until closing time on the following Thursday. You have six days to pick it up.
If your tree is not collected by the end of that Thursday, it will be offered for general sale with the other cut trees.

I’ve forgotten the name I put on my personalised PYO Christmas Tree label

There are a couple of ways to find out what you wrote on your PYO Christmas Tree label:

  • Please check your confirmation ticket email titled “Your tickets from Rougham Estate”; your label name will be listed there.
  • Please check the email we send out a day or two before your chosen collection week begins. This email will list your tree label name(s) and also your tree label number(s).
I can’t collect my tree in my chosen week; can it be cut for another week?

Once your tree has been tagged with your colour-coded label, your chosen collection week is locked in.
All the trees with the same colour label are cut at the same time (Red: Week 1, Blue: Week 2, Orange: Week 3).

Your tree will be held for you from the Saturday morning of your chosen collection week until closing time on the following Thursday, so you have six days to pick it up.

If your tree is not collected by the end of that Thursday, it will be offered for general sale with the other cut trees.

I can’t remember when my chosen collection week was!

Don’t worry if you can’t remember which collection week you selected to come and get your tree. It will be listed on the “Your Tickets from Rougham Estate” email when you made your original booking.

Do you remember which colour label you put on your tree?
The Red Labels are for the first collection week, the Blue Labels are for the second collection week and the Orange Labels are for the final collection week. (See the top of this page for the actual dates this year.)

We will also send you a reminder email just a few days before your collection week begins, listing the name label(s) you chose to put on your tree(s) and the tree label numbers, so that you can be sure that you are coming at the right time and taking home the tree(s) you chose.

How do I get to Blackthorpe Barn; what postcode do I use on SatNav?

To get to the Barn, use this postcode: IP30 9HZ.
Not all events on Rougham Estate happen at Blackthorpe Barn; please check the specific details for the event you wish to attend.
More information on finding us easily can be found on our visitor information page.

Can you deliver my Christmas tree?

Yes, we offer a Christmas tree delivery service within a radius of about 30 miles from Blackthorpe Barn. Depending on where you live, the delivery cost will vary from approximately £20 – £55 depending on distance.

If you are choosing your tree at the Pick Your Own Christmas Tree plantation and you want to have your tree delivered, you pay for your tree and its delivery at the check-in hut (card only).

Please email Simon Eddell, the Christmas Tree Manager, on simon@roughamestate.com for details about delivery.

Can I get a refund if I don’t want to choose a tree at the plantation?

If you arrive at the plantation and decide that you don’t want to choose a tree from the hundreds of trees available, unfortunately we are unable to give you a refund for your ticket price (the cost for the first tree).
However, if you paid for a second or third tree at the check-in, we will refund the cost for the further trees.

Are there any dog walks around the area?

Yes, we have some lovely dog walks around the Estate. Please see our Walks page.

What else can I do at Blackthorpe Barn?

Although Rougham Estate is known for its Christmas tree plantations, there’s lots more to do here too, especially at Christmas!

Roots Café is open all year round at Blackthorpe Barn, as is the Christmas shop at Christmas time, and the Garden Room shop at others times.

For the second weekend of PYO Christmas tree, the renowned Arts and Crafts Fair is also taking place in the medieval thatched barn – just the thing to get you into the mood for Christmas, with makers from around the country selling their hand-crafted goods. You’ll find the perfect Christmas present here.

Don’t forget to visit the fabulous Christmas Shop too, open daily from mid October to a few days before Christmas.

There are also walks of different lengths and difficulties that start at the Barn and take you around the Estate.

At different times of the year we hold other events such as the sunflowers in summer and pumpkins in autumn.
Keep your eye on our social media accounts and our website to see what’s happening here.

It’s been another amazing season! Due to the pumpkin patch having been very popular over the past 4 weekends we are having to close 4 days earlier than expected. Thank you to everyone who came - it’s been a real pleasure to welcome you to the Sunflowers and Pumpkins this year🎃🌻

2025 has been a tricky growing year with the dry weather early on causing the sunflowers to bloom later than expected and keeping the pumpkins generally smaller than in previous years. Thank you for support and for all the lovely comments and encouragement. We’re already busy planning next year, keeping some things the same and updating others👍

Here is an overview of some of your best moments here. We love to see your pictures and are delighted when you tag us☺️ Thank you!

Thanks also goes to each person on the hard-working and fabulous team who make these events happen. It’s their time, effort and energy that creates all the magic. Thank you to each one - you know who you are and you are appreciated👋🎉🙌

Don’t forget that Christmas is already underway with the Christmas Shop at the Blackthorpe Barn location and the PYO Tree tickets on the plantation nearby are selling fast. There’s always lots to do here at Rougham Estate.

Thank you again and we look forward to welcoming you back soon👋
Details about all events are on our website.

The LAST DAY for the pumpkins this year is Monday 27th October, open 9-4, and it’s the last Sunday of Rougham Pumpkins today! Open 9-5

We had a blast yesterday, going through from morning until Pumpkins by Torchlight in the evening with the sounds of K-Pop songs being sung by many and wonderful renditions of other classics at the “silent” disco🤣. It was fabulous to see so many people having a great time and all ages dancing and singing together🕺💃

The weather looks gloriously autumnal today - come and spend some time in the fresh air🍁
There are still pumpkins at be found in the depths of the patch - all the pictures here are from yesterday.

🌯Amazing food and drink provided by:
Roots&Co - sausage & bacon baps until 11am, then loaded hashbrowns, cakes and drinks
@whatthe_peck - freshly-prepared buttermilk chicken
@samu_kitchen - tasty vegan dishes
@geegeebakes - cheesecakes, crumbles and sweet treats
@badboiburritos - toasted burritos using fresh, local ingredients
@macstkitchen - banging mac’n’cheese from a vintage ambulance
@tikka_tonic - New Delhi style street food
@kiernanscoffee - coffees, hot chocolates, snacks and treats down in the patch where the pumpkins are
Licensed bar

Also:
🎨Face-painting available from @faceitfaceart (during the day only)
🎃Pumpkins, gourds and squashes - all hiding in the further reaches of the field now
🧒🏻Big bale pyramids, football goals, pedal tractors, sand pits and space to run and play
🎟️Free entry, free parking, no need to book
📸Plenty of photo-ops
🐕Dogs welcome in the picnic area and doggy patch but not the main patch
